Our Story

Quack House is the next chapter of our family’s long-standing legacy, Hing Lung Company, and the companion brand to Go Duck Yourself.
After decades in Chinatown, Hing Lung Company relocated in April 2024 when the original space began showing structural limitations. For the safety of our guests and team, and with a desire to serve you better, we moved into a more modern, accessible facility, while staying in the same district of San Francisco.

Owned and operated by brothers and chefs Eric and Simon Cheung, Quack House is run alongside the original core team from Hing Lung Chinatown. Together, we bring generations of experience, craftsmanship, and care to the table, now with a refreshed and modern approach to how we serve our community.

You won’t find roasted meats hanging in the window here. Instead, we focus on intention and freshness. Everything is prepared within the hour and made to order, so the flavors you love arrive at their peak.
Quack House is a carry-out–forward concept, designed for efficiency and quality, with limited window seating for guests who want to enjoy a quick bite. We are also fully equipped to handle large-volume orders for gatherings, celebrations, and events.

Go Duck Yourself, is a casual, full-service dine-in spot in Bernal Heights. While each concept has its own personality, both share the same commitment to quality, heritage, and thoughtful hospitality.
